33"x44" acrylic on canvas

**: Updated image, 12-9-08(taken w/ natural light on a cloudy day yielding much truer colors, though I find it is still difficult to get the harmony to sing digitally as well as it does with the original)

I've had way too much fun working on this and could go on for some time I'm sure, but I'm happy with it, and there's too much work remaining. Notice- the same techniques used in many of the most recent paintings to achieve an ephemeral water/sky abstraction become, in this piece, solid.

*Please full-view...I used nearly half a bucket of gel-medium in sculpting the waves before painting. (The high-gloss heavy gel medium, no pigment, went straight down over the work-in-progress photo posted recently.

If the entrance to a new-born cosmos on an entirely uncharted plane could be carved out of dreams, aurorae, and lucid expression with brush and acrylic, this would be a fine representation. Behold: The Return by *OneLifeOneArt. (Suggested by `kasumichan2003 and Featured by ^snowmask)

Lol, thanks man:) I'll take that w/ a great big grain of salt, as I'm prone to excessive pride in this work that isn't really "mine." ...and thanks for the donut :chew: :D

Love, love, love it!
It's just like your sitting in a little boat, floating over the water in a big bright tunnel of beautiful light!
It really gives a the feeling of rest and peace. Some place where you can only hear water dripping from the rocks, it could image me sitting there, really!
